A. Installation and Registration

A.1 Installation

For Dreamweaver CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC
- open the "jQuery_OnePage_[version-no].zxp" file using Adobe Extension Manager
- restart Dreamweaver

For Dreamweaver CS4 - open the "jQuery_OnePage_[version-no].mxp" file using Adobe Extension Manager CS4 - restart Dreamweaver

A.2 Where to find the extension in Dreamweaver


Extend Studio products are available in the Insert Window in Dreamweaver. Click CTRL+F2 (Command+F2) to display the Insert Window.
If the Insert Window is displayed as Tabs below the main Dreamweaver menu, the Extend products should appear on the right side of the Tabs.
If the Insert Window is displayed as Floating Panel (usually displayed on the left or right of the working area, depending on the Workspace settings: developer, designer etc) you need to click on the "Common" drop-down - marked with a down arrow and the Extend Studio products should appear in the pop-up list.

A.3 Registration

A.3.1 How to register the extension
When you'll first start the extension, a registration pop-up will appear. Paste the code from the email that you have received from Extend Studio after buying the extension or click on "Use as trial" to use it free for 10 days (only skin 1 is available in trial mode).

A.3.2 Registration Errors
The error messages could be due to many different reasons - choose a solution from the list (below) which corresponds to the error code displayed on your screen.
301 : This message indicates that the license key which you have entered is already in use. If you are trying to install a single user license - you would have to reset the license from the Extend Studio website - "My orders" section.
License Invalid: this implies that the serial number entered by you is incorrect. Make sure you are entering the correct license key.
If it still doesn't work, go to Account "My orders" section and from there you can obtain the correct license key.

B. Insert a jQuery OnePage

B.1 Setting up the page

In order to insert a jQuery PowerSlider in a page, first that page needs to be saved inside a Dreamweaver site. If you don't have a site

B.2 Insert a jQuery OnePage

Once you have your site and page ready, click the "Insert jQuery OnePage" button from the insert bar.

The jQuery OnePage Editor will appear. From the Sections tab in the left side you can manage your page sections. These sections are linked to the navigation menu items. When clicking on navigation links, the you can scroll down the page or jump to that particular content's section.

From the OnePage Editor you can add, remove, re-order pages. You can set the pages names, their min-height in px and the bg color of each section.

Inside the right tab you can set the navigation easing effect and the effect duration. When the page takes the user to the selected section, the easing and the effect duration are applied. From this tab you can also choose to include navigation on top of the One page site or not. If you choose to include navigation on top, a Flexi Menus 2 for Dreamweaver default menu will be added.
You will be able to customize it later inside the Flexi Menus 2 Property Inspector. Click here for details.

C. Insert a jQuery OnePage template from gallery

You can insert one of the 3 available templates by clicking the "Insert template from gallery" button from your insert tab. In the OnePage Editor the 3 template previews will be displayed.
Once you choose the template that you want to insert, it will be added inside the current page that you have opened in Dreamweaver.

D. Add and Edit the content of a jQuery OnePage

To edit the content of the OnePage, click the Create/ Edit One Page Site.

D.1 Change sections using jQuery OnePage

In order to edit, add or remove sections of your OnePage site, you need to click the Create/Edit OnePage button from the Insert bar to open the Editor.
You can add, edit or delete sections from the page and also change the sections background color and min-height.
In the editing mode you can change the navigation easing effect and duration.

D.2 Edit the jQuery OnePage using Flexi Layouts 2 PRO and Flexi Menus 2

If you want to add content to your OnePage, you can use Flexi Layouts 2 PRO - http://www.extendstudio.com//product/tableless-css-layouts-for-dreamweaver.html
You need to download and install the Flexi Layouts 2 PRO. Then , open the site created with OnePage in Dreamweaver. Select the Flexi Layouts 2 PRO extension from the insert bar and click the Create/ Edit Layout button to open the page in the FLexi Layouts 2 PRO Editor.
Note! jQuery OnePage is not compatible with Flexi Layouts 2 - the standard version. If you own Flexi Layouts 2 and you want to upgrade to Flexi Layouts 2 PRO, please send an email to sales [at] extendstudio.com and we will send you the special upgrade link.

You can edit and cutomize the navigation menu added inside the jQuery OnePage with Flexi Menus 2 Bundle - http://www.extendstudio.com//product/flexi-css-menus-dreamweaver.html
Download and install Flexi Menus 2 Bundle.
When inserting the jQuery OnePage, the navigation menu has to be enabled. After inserting the jQuery OnePage, click on the navigation menu and the FLexi menus 2 Property Inspector will appear. You will be able to edit the menu from the Property Inspector.

E. FAQ

1. Can I use the OnePage license for an unlimited number of websites?
Yes. This is a single user unlimited license and this means that you can use it to build layouts for an unlimited number of websites.

2. Can I use the license to work on my both work and home computers?
We offer a secondary free license at the user's request. All you have to do is send an e-mail to support [at] extendstudio.com and ask for a secondary free license.

3. How can I move the extension to a new computer?
You will have to download the extension from your extend studio account and install in on the new computer. Before registering, you will have have to reactivate the serial number by clicking the correspondent "Reset license" button from your account.
