So if I want to apply my own custom css to a page designed with Flexi CSS Layouts do I always use the provided xxx_user.css or can I use my own styles.css file that I create in Dreamweaver?
Confused about how all this is supposed to work together and best way to proceed. Thanks!

Hello,
You can add your own css files if you want more customizing of your layout. Just make sure to have the correspondent ids and classes there.
As long as you don't want to overwrite our css files, they should work fine together.

Ok so what is an example of when I would use xxx_user.css versus my own styles.css file? Maybe I don't understand exactly what xxx_user.css is actually for
Thank you

Ok, so I set up an unordered list in my left sidebar and have styled the links and created a rollover effect via the Flexi CSS Layouts interface. Cool
But how do I style the unordered list itself or the list items? For example I want to remove the bullet from the list items. Where does this get defined? in xxx_user.css or in my own styles.css file?
Thanks for your help!

Hello,
You can add the list-style-type: or any style formatting in your own .css file, but all you have to do is make sure that you are not trying to change any style from our css file - user.css, because the user.css is wider and the style from there will overwrite any style that you put in your own .css file.
However if you want to make something specific and you can't get the result you want, please send us an archive with the dw website by e-mail to support[at]extendstudio.com. We would be glad to help.
