I'm confused. I have set up a full page layout with Flexi CSS Layouts including a left side bar that will contain a menu. I have typed in the text in Dreamweaver into the sidebar but when I try to apply unordered list to the text, I get an error message from Dreamweaver:

"Making this change would require changing code that is locked by a template or translator. The change will be discarded"

I'm obviously missing something pretty big here. How do I unlock this so I can apply styles to this text?

Hello,

If you want to insert the list in the template page that you are working in, all you have to do is insert an editable region there - DW Main Menu> Insert> Template Objects> Editable Region.
In that region you can add any handcode you want.

But I did not set up template areas in this page. Are you saying that all of the output from CSS Flexi Layouts is a template and I have to add Editable Areas for each of the divs that are set up by the interface?

This area was set up via Flexi CSS Layouts. It allows me to enter text and style it as bold for example via Dreamweaver. But if I try to style it as an Unordered List this is when I get the locked message. I have looked through the entire html file and there are no Dreamweaver template areas.

I think maybe I am misunderstanding how this works. Thank you for your help

Well that is weird. I closed Dreamweaver and started it up again. Now it allows me to apply an unordered list to the text in the div with no problems. That is strange. Anyway, all is fine now. Thank you
