I am trying to edit my flex css layout in Dreamweaver 5.5 for Mac and when I go to the INSERT-EDIT-I get a grey screen and cannot see or edit the layout. I just worked days ago and I changed nothing on my settings that should have effected it....I am stumped here and I really don't want to start from scratch....any ideas on how to fix it?

Can you please try to create a new layout, then edit it and see if this issue is still happening?
Do you have any special characters in your OS username? It would be great if you could send us a screenshot with the grey screen by e-mail to support[at]extendstudio.com

Hi
I have the same problem. I have gone to edit a site I built a couple of months ago and the Flexi Panel Editor is just a grey screen. I am using Dreamweaver 5.5 also.
How to you fix this?

Hello Steve,
Do you recall doing anything different in this period?
Have you tried to disable, then enable the Flexi Panels in Dreamweaver? Please open the Extension Manager (DW main menu> Commands> Manage Extensions) and disable the extension and then enable it. Restart Dreamweaver and see what happens then.

Hi Elena
I have having this problem again. I have just built a website using the Flexi CSS Panels, go back to it a couple of days later to edit and all I get is a grey panel where the layout should be. I have disabled the extension and re-enabled it, but still get the same grey screen.
Do you know how to fix this?

Hello Steve,
It's possible that you have a div added by hand there or an unclosed html tag. It would be great if you could send us one of the pages from your site and the 'Includes' folder by e-mail to support[at]extendstudio.com so that we can fix it.
A link from your website would also be useful, but I need the page so that I can test what causes the grey box in the Editor.

Hello,
I have sent you the fixed layout. There was a css attribute in the CNGCHome.css file. There was a border:none attribute added there. Have you added it by hand or it was added automatically by the Editor?
If you want to add any css property, please use the user.css file that is especially created for user handcoding.
