Hello,

Select the "don't show this again" message from the alert and don't delete the cache everytime.

Thank you for your suggestion Elena,

The problem seems a bit more complicated in my case here.
There is no "don't show this again" message. The box gives me only two choice to close it or to press OK.
Reboot or Restart DW do not help neither. Just this message "In Order for the extension to work restarting DW is required!".

This thing comes up in both my laptop and desktop.

Just can not do anything so far. Please tell me what possibly solve my problem.

Thank you very much,

Hisato Nakajima

My operating system is in Japanese.
I do use Japanese characters for the user name also.

I believe this is the classic error made by Extension Manager on operating systems that use a different language than Dreamweaver.

Probably it installed the extension in a wrong folder. You need to copy the files to the correct location.

Get to Dreamweaver's configuration folder. You can find instructions here: http://www.extendstudio.com/documentation/creative-dw-dropdown-menu/documentation/faq/faq2.html#cache_procedure

Check if you have multiple configuration folders. It's possible that you have two language folders with a configuration for each. Once you find the two configuration folders, one of them will have more files in it. Copy in it all the contents from the smaller one.

If you want I can help you get the files in the correct folder by doing a desktop sharing session.

Thank you so much for your quick respond!
I am going to try that by myself and see what happens first.

Hi Elena,

I could not figure out quite much by myself...
Could you help me by doing desktop sharing?

Please let me know what I have to prepare to do so.

Hisato

Hello again,

Well, first, download Teamviewer if you don't have it and then send me an e-mail to support[at]extendstudio.com with the id and a pass in order to start desktop sharing.
