Is it possible to change folder options when uploading my files...
Instead of an 'includes' folder I would have...
image_files folder
media_files folder
support_files folder (where my stylesheet will be)
index.html file
...all the images etc. will be called up from their respective folders as css demands...
is this possible or do I have to have an 'includes' folder
thank you,
keith

Hello Keith,
It is recommended that you keep the "includes" folder for the layout files. You can place the images and other assets in any folders inside the site.
It is important to keep the files of the layouts in the "includes" folder to maintain the compatibility with the editor. Also, you would have to update many links from the HTML file and the layout css.

Hi,
I am used to having all my images in a Images folder as well as my pages in the top level of my root folder, as I was trying out the Flexi css layouts I placed my custom images and linked them to the images folder, should I not be using the dreamweaver interface but instead placing my custom images and layouts in the includes file, can I delete the unused images that come with the sample layouts.
thank you I am just trying to sort out the process.

Hello,
Inside this 'Includes' folder there is a folder called CSSLayouts which will contain all your CSS files and a folder for the assets - images. These files are updating automatically once you are done editing in Dreamweaver. As my colleague, Andrei said, it is recommended to keep this includes folder for the CSS files and other layout files. Make another folder for your images, but make sure to update all the paths. Sure, you can delete any unused image that comes with the sample layout and keep only what is necessary.
