Hello,

I have the exact same question. I have looked through to see if I can even deposit the folder somewhere, but no information came with these templates to explain the best way to integrate them with Flexi CSS.

Thank you,
Cheryl

Guys,

Here's a quick fix: Open the html file in a text editor and remove all html comments from the file. Then re-save it as an HTML file. Now you'll be able to edit it in the GUI Layout.

HOWEVER, you'll notice that most of the elements are not editable here. So only minor edits are possible.

It's a disgrace that we've paid for something that clearly does not work as described in the marketing blur. I've spent the last two days on this and it's been a complete waste of my time. Is there anyone at extend that would like to help us out here.........

Hello,

We will add a documentation page on the website today that will provide install information and quick help tips.

Each template comes within a folder that is created with the structure of Dreamweaver site. The usage process starts with extracting the folder from the archive in the location you want.

After the extraction, go in Dreamweaver and create a new site. Select the folder of the template as the root folder for the new site. After that you should see all the files inside the "Files" panel in Dreamweaver.

The HTML files are created based on the DWT templates from the templates folder. From the HTML files you can modify only the layout elements particular for that page. If you want to modify the layout of the template you need to open the DWT file.

Basically, the DWT files hold the page layouts created with Flexi CSS Layouts while the HTML files add some section layouts. So, from the HTML files you can modify the smaller section layouts and from the DWT you can modify the page layouts.

To edit a layout with Flexi CSS Layouts, just place the cursor anywhere inside the layout and press the edit button.

To create a new file based on a template, click New from the top menu, then choose "Create from template" and choose the template you want to use.

It is very important that you create the Dreawmweaver site before you can edit the template.

Tell me if you have any more questions. We will add the FAQ page ASAP.

Andrei Rinciog

I've got the same issue - I've purchased this thinking that it will make my life easier ... but !!!
Can you please provide a link to the documentation - as I can't find it anywhere on your site.
Is the intention that you have to change the PSD file to your own requirements? or is it just a background image to assist with layout.

Hi Andrei,

I just purchased the templates after seeing that you posted a quick "how to" on the forum... I have the same problem with this order insofar as the paypal email that I used to purchase has directed my order to the other account than the one I use could you push this order over to the main account for me as you did this morning... the Order Number: 9709105

Hello Ian,

The PSD file can be used to easily modify graphical elements from the website and/or use slice new images when needed.

Hi Andrei,

I think that sometimes we forget to say "thank you" when something is good (even if we have to pay for it), but when something is not to our liking we sing it from the rooftops.

At the moment, I have been building websites for customers (even changing the colour schemes) with the new templates and my customers are heralding me as "brilliant" all thanks to Extend Studio... Flexi Layouts and Templates.

For now I haven't any ideas other than saying I look forward to more design packs for Offline type business'

Magrehth
