Today I bought the Dreamweaver CSS Pack Full PRO.
Installation of the extension "Flexi CSS Layouts " does not work.

Message:

" Die Menüs können nicht aktualisiert werden. Die Erweiterung wird nicht installiert"
" The menus will not be updated. The Extension will not be installed.

Configuration:

Dreamweaver CS4,Extension Manager CS4

Hello,

What happened when you try to install Flexi CSS Layouts? You received any errors or just can't find the extension in Dreamweaver?

Hello,

the installation of Flexi CSS Layouts starts until the message

" The menus will not be updated. The Extension will not be installed.

appears. After quit with OK, the installation seems to continue without any additional message
or error but I can't find the extension.

The installation of the extensions Flexi Panels CSS and Flexi CSS Menues run without problems.

Hello Olaf,

Do you have many extensions installed in your Dreamweaver?

Sometimes the "menu.xml" file from Dreamweaver's documentation gets corrupted and the Extension Manager can't update it anymore.

This is usually fixed by disabling all extensions and then enabling them back.

Hello, Andrei,

No, only Flexi Panels and Flexi Menues. Disabling and later deleting those two did not fix the problem.

Hello again Olaf,

If you don't have any other extensions installed, you could try to rename Dreamweavers configuration. Rename it to "Configuration_old".

Then install the extensions and the Extension Manager should create a new Configuration folder.

You can find help on how to locate the configuration folder here:

Greetings.

This is my first post and i hope I'm in the right area for questions.

My software, Flexi CSS Layouts, loaded properly and I can choose templates. In the preview, it looks fine but when I upload the webpage, it does not show any of the coding and looks like a plain page. I have tried leaving the template information in tact just to see if I've done something wrong and it's the same. The page "scatters". If allowed, you can see from my site: http://www.noodlekidz.com

Thanks.

Hello Yolanda,

The extension creates a folder called "includes" in the root of your website. It uses that folder to store all the files needed by a layout to be displayed correctly.

You need to upload that folder to the server for the page to display correctly online. Check the root folder of your website and upload the folder "includes".
