HirnrnI am re-editing a page section that is part of a main css layout, altering the main page layout dimensions works fine but after I finish editing the section layout and save it I get a DW error pop up.rnrn"Making this change would require c hanging code that is locked bya template or a translator. The change will be discarded."rnrnThe page in question is not a DWT, I tried removing the page section completey and reinserting it as I saved it as a section layout but get the same message?rnrnJust to be on the safe side I also deleted the win cache file, any ideas?

Hello,
Probably the layouts translator blocks you from making any changes. Is the section layout inside the content comments of a page layout? Maybe it got somehow inside the structure divs of the page layout.
Could you please send me a copy of the page and the CSS files at support at extendstudio.com?

Many thanks for your help, but so for anyone else having the same issue in my case it appears the the translators from another extension I have installed by webassist caused the error.
The layout extension works fine now.

Hello,
I have experienced this same 'issue' many times, and haven't been sure why it is doing this. Can you expand on what other extension could be causing this, and what can be done about it? I want to use all other purchased extensions, so I'm not sure how to solve this problem.
With regards to this 'locked code' message, many times I have had this, I've cancelled the change, but when I have gone back to the work area, my preview shows divs that don't look like they used to, with extra transparent areas, and what looks like extra div borders. However, you preview the design in a web page, and it looks ok...
This can't be undone, so don't know how to avoid this happening. It's a gamble now of whether to make a change to an existing layout and whether it will have a locked code message or not. Making a copy of the page before attempting a change doesn't help, as it affects the css file (which one I don't know).
Don't know if this is just happening to me. Any light you can shed would be greatly appreciated! Regards, Kristy.
