HI...

I created a Full Page layout and inserted it in a DW page. Now after playing with it a bit, I would like to make a couple of modifications to the size of a several DIVS. When I try and edit the code it tells me that I shouldn't do that. Ok...so can I reload the same layout into the Flexi layout manager, tweak it and then resave it on the page "without" loosing any of the content I've put in?

Thanks!!!

Hello Walter,

All the content will remain intact after editing. The extension doesn't modify anything that's inside the content comments. The only way that content can be removed is if you remove a div that has content. But you will be prompted about this in the interface and you may cancel, move the content and then remove the div.

The system is pretty safe but just to be extra safe make a backup of the page before you edit its structure.

HI Andrei,

Thanks for the quick reply. OK...now that we've determined that the layout of a Page in Progress can be edited...How do I do that? Exactly what steps do I take to do the edit?

Thanks!!!

Hello Walter,

Well, there aren't really a whole lot of steps that you need to follow. Basically, you can just click on the "edit layout" button from the insert bar. The extension will read the layout from the page and place it in the editor.

Create the backup page before you hit the "edit" button if you want to be extra careful.

Tell me if you have any more question.
