Hi my name is Cindy and I've just purchased FlexiCSS.
I've got DW CS5 version 11.0 on my PC, HP Pavilion windows vista home premium, service pack 2, 32 bit
I've attempted to follow your tutorial for installing, and seem to get the little bugger installed with the extension manager, but when I attempt to use Flexi CSS in DW, I get the dreaded "please upload ïncludes/CSSLayouts/debug_plus.js" file on the production server to propagate the debug on/off setting" message. YIKES!
Question 1- where do I find this file? (I searched my PC and found only a short cut to the allusive debug_plus.js file, but can open it in DW!)
Question 2- Once located, where does the *.js file need to be uploaded?
Question 3- As I am using only my local PC, is that considered the "production server"?
I am hoping there is an easy fix to my problem. Geez, this whole DW extension thing is harder than it looks on the website! =)
I did empty the browser cache and now am at this standstill.. HELP ME PLEASE!! lol
cheers

Hello Cindy,
Sorry I'm a bit late but hopefully this will help you in the future. The debug system of the Flexi Layouts is a small javascript file that allows you to see the structure of the layout in browsers. It gives you information about each div so you can see exactly how the layout is displayed in each browser.
If you test your pages on a server (either upload them to a hosting provider or using a server on your computer), you need to upload that js file to have debug functionality.
When you enable or disable debug on a layout, basically you change the code inside debug_plus.js. So, if you want the change to make the change on the server you need to upload that JS file again.
It's not that complicated as it sounds though. You probably won't need to enable/disable debug mode many times. Just remember to turn it off once you finish the page.
If you have any more questions, I'm here to help.
Regards,
Andrei Rinciog
