Hello,

I'm rather a beginner with Joomla so please correct me if I'm wrong.

I think you can use a Flexi page layout in a Joomla template. You just have to modify add the Joomla elements without breaking the divs structure. As well, all modules must be loaded inside content divs (they are marked with comments).

Its probably best to use the CSS in a separate file.

Also, it might be a good idea to use section layouts as modules.
