Every time I open this it asks me for the license, and when it does finally open, there are no layouts on the main screen, and when trying to create my own it will not even let me save what I have done. Please help, I pretty much paid for something that is not working at all.

Hi,
It looks like a problem in locating the installation files. Do you have any special characters in the machine user name? Are you available for a desktop sharing so we could see exactly what's going on on your machine?

I don't think that I have any special characters in the machine user name. I am not available for desktop sharing, but I would love it if you could give me a few suggestions on what the problem could be, so I can continue to play around with it to see if I can get it to work.

Hi,
the only time we discovered that this happens is when the user account of the operating system has special characters in its name. Please be sure that this is not the case so we can look further into it. You can check this by following one of these steps depending on your operating system:
PC: Go to Start>Control Panel>User Accounts (see name of the account)
Mac: Apple menu>System Preferences>View>Accounts
If this is not your problem then please give us the following information: what operating system are you using, what Dreamweaver version, if the current user account has administrative rights (it should be Administrator not Standard),

Thank you for the help, I did have special characters in my user name which I had to go and delete that user name and start a new one, and now it is working perfectly.
