Hi,

can you please give us more details about your computer configuration? What operating system and Dreamweaver version.

Does your current user profile contains a special character (such as ' from John's profile)?

Thanks,
Ion

I also have the same issue with this. I really find it hard to solve this. I'll try suggestions from this forum and hope it'll be okay later. Thanks a lot. I'll regularly visit this forum for updates.

Hello,

Rajneesh, so the interface opens and you are able to select one of the layouts but after you click insert there's nothing in your page? Have you tried to minize and restore Dreamweaver? Maybe it will cause it to refresh. The extension should insert some files inside a folder called "includes" on the root of your site. Has that folder been created?

This is a very strange error and I don't really know what can cause it. Could we do a desktop sharing session so I can take a look at what's happening on your computer?

Michael, you have the same problem as Rajneesh? Could you please give us more info of your operating system and Dreamweaver version?

I downloaded and installed the latest trial as well and I'm experiencing the same issue!

Clicking "Insert" from the extension dialog after choosing/creating a layout wont insert any code at all!

I'm using the following:
Flexi CSS Layouts v1.0.259 (trial period)
DW CS5 11.0.3 (CS5 Design Premium)
Win7 Ultimate x64
Core2 Duo 6500
8GB RAM
1GB GeForce GTS 250

Hello,

Do you have an apostrophe in the site name or in the username of your computer?

Something like "Mike's Website" ?

Nope.

Computer username is KJA and site name is Test.

Trying to insert with a simple page containing:
html
head
title (Untitled Document)
/head
body

/body
/html

Hello,

Do you think we could do a desktop sharing session so I can take a look at what's happening on your computer.

Usually these problems where caused by apostrophe. If that's not the case, I'm afraid I have to take a look before I can say for sure what's wrong.

Tell me if you could do a desktop sharing and I will send you more instructions by email.

Regards,
Andrei Rinciog

PS: don't post your email address. I will get it from the database.

Hello,

Have you purchased the extension? Perhaps you've used another e-mail address when you purchased. If this is so, our system automatically creates an account for that e-mail address. You can send us an e-mail to support[at]extendstudio.com with any e-mail address you may have used and we'll search our database. Let us know

I worked out what the problem for me was...

It wasn't the computer username or the site name that had an apostrophe, it was the site FILE PATH. Creating a new site/file folder without an apostrophe fixed the problem.

Is this bug going to be fixed in a future update? I am looking to purchase, but i am a little hesitant as I have several programs (including 15 other DW sites and my entire iTunes library) configured to use the folder containing the apostrophe.

Hello again,

This issue has been fixed and will be included in the next update of the product. I can't say exactly when it will be available, but very soon.

Both Flexi Layout and Flexi Panels installed with no problem. Both seem to function fine until you hit the insert button: Nothing gets inserted on the webpage, no code, no anything. It's as though the programs don't where their own files are.
I am current running Windows 7 64bit on a Sony AW190 laptop with 4 gb ram and using Dreamweaver CS5.
Any ideas?

Hello,

What insert button are you referring at? The one the from the interface or the insert from Dreamweaver?

Maybe there's something wrong with the configuration of the site you are testing in.
Have you tried in a different site?

Thanks for your help, but it turns out it was that apostrophe thing. The name of the directory the site on Dreamweaver was in had an apostrophe in it. Once I changed it everything worked just fine. It happened to me once before a while back and I forgot all about it. I won't forget again.
