I downloaded the trial version of FlexiLayouts today and used the extension manager to install it in DWCS4. I quit and restarted DW. When I choose Flexi CSS Layouts from the insert panel, all selections are grey except "turn debug mode on" and "turn debug mode off". I'd love to be able to try it before I purchase - help!

Hi everyone,

All the options are greyed out and you can't click on them? It doesn't give you any alert or anything?

In order for the extension to function you need to define a Dreamweaver site for your files. Have you done that? If you did, please send us a screenshot with how you see the options on the insert bar at support at extendstudio.com

You don't need a serial number for the trial but you need an internet connection. Are you connected to the internet? Is this the first time you try to install the trial version?

Hi

I've got the same problem it asks me for a serial and says " Trial disabled: internet connection failed "
But I've got a site defined and the internet connected !!! Extension installed on Dreamweaver CS5 and operating system is OSX 10.6.4

Any clue? Got to try before thinking to buy it seems to be a great extension but....
Thanks

Hello,

Are you sure that Dreamweaver has connection to the internet? It is possible that you have a firewall or a proxy that blocks some applications from accessing the internet.

Please check that out.

Hello,

Are you using the demo version or a registered version? What operating system are you running it on?

Hello,

You can see the options from the trial window? You are able to open the interface?

If the options from the "insert" menu are greyed out, maybe you don't have a valid page opened. You are trying to insert a layout inside an empty html page?

Hello,

Before you can insert a menu in a page you must first define a site so that the component can work. Here is a tutorial on how to do that:
