Why on earth does FlexiCSS keep telling me I need to copy images to my site root folder when I've selected my site already in Dreamweaver? It keeps selecting a different site's root folder...what gives?

Hi Dave,
I assume you want to put images as background, correct? Where are you using the pictures from? Are the pictures inside the site folder? If they are somewhere on your disk (but not inside the site folder) Dreamweaver will ask if you want to copy them.

they're already in the site folder, in the root, in a folder called "images". Every time I try to change the background of one of the div's it wants to put the image in the "images" folder of a completely different site. It's like it doesn't know that I've switched to another site to work on.

Hello Dave,
Do you have the latest version of the component? Check the extension manager if you have version 1.0.0. If you don't you should update it and try again.
Are you certain that you have the images folder in the same site as the page where you try to insert a layout on? I just tested with version 1.0.0 and everything seems to work ok.
What's your workflow exactly? If you restart Dreamweaver you get the same result?
I'm thinking that you don't have the images folder and html with the layout under the same folder and that's why you are asked to copy the images.

Hi
I am experiencing the same problem! Whether I create a new site or use an exsisting site, when I attempt to place a background image onto the site using flexi, I either get;
"to make a document = relative path, your document should be saved first. A file://' path will be used until you save your document"
The problem is that the document is already saved.
Then I get "The file you selected already exists. Would you like to overwrite this file?" If you choose no, you don't get anywhere. If you choose yes, you get taken to another folder outside of the root - and you don't get anywhere.
I have emailed Andrei and he suggested that I needed to create a site - but I have already created sites and have tried to use existing sites - all to no avail. This is driving me nuts!
Any suggestions please?
Many thanks

Hello Joe,
There is a problem with the browse for image functionality in the current version. We will fix it in the next update. Until then, please insert the path to the image manually it inside e "URL" text field. You must use a path relative to the root folder of the website.

Hi Andrei,
I am having the same problem as everyone with the background images. I followed your instructions and inserted the path manually:
e.g. C:UsersTedDocumentsBratendersimagesNav-bar.gif
It accepted it but still no bg image, what do you think?

Hello Ted,
You first need to copy the image inside your site folder. The URL to the image then needs to be relative to the site root folder.
So, for example, if you copied your image inside the folder "images" from your site, the URL will look like this:
"images/Nav-bar.gif" or "./images/Nav-bar.gif".
