I downloaded and installed FlexiPanels. When I try to use it Dreamweaver crashes after the FlexiPanels screen opens saying "Loading Interface".
I am using Dreamweaver CS4, MacOS 10.6 on a MacPro.

Crashing reports are a rare case for FlexiPanels. Because of this, we don’t have a decent knowledge base for reports like yours. This is why, we would appreciate very much if we could do a desktop sharing session. This way, you can show us directly on your computer the error and we can find the source of the problem more quickly.

I have tried this several times and it still gets to the LOADING INTERFACE point and then crashes. I will try to re-install the plug in and see if it works.
If not I am not sure what a screen shot can tell you. you will see it crash.

my DW CS4 crashes as well when using flexi panels..if you guys want we can do a screen sharing session so you can find out what the problem is and fix it.

Finally found the flexipanel and it crashes in Dreamweaver on my computer also.
Really probably too many issues with this to make it useful.

I have the same problem. Dreamweaver crashes when using FlexiPanels. I just have the trial and I can't even try it!. Can't try it....lost sale.

Hello,
Indeed there seems to be a problem on a few MAC computers. We have been working this week to find the source of the problem. With the help of some clients, we managed to identify the source and we are currently working on fix.
These cases are very rare and the majority of our MAC users have not experienced any kind of problems. Unfortunately, a software product can't be perfect and sometimes crazy errors appear. We will find a fix and update the online package ASAP.

I don't have a MAC. I have Windows XP Pro SP3 and DW CS4. DW crashes the minute I click on any icon in FlexiPanels CSS.

I found out what the problem was (at least for me on Windows XP w/ DW CS4). It was because I had DW 8 and the corresponding extension manager still on my computer. I had to manually uninstall DW8 AND the extension manager for DW8 before the extension manager for DM DS4 would work with Flexipanels.
In researching further, I realized that there are different extension manager applications. Each version comes with it's own. I had to make sure I had no earlier version of an extension manager installed.

Note: This document says to remove extension manager from the control panel, but it didn't show there for me. I had to manually uninstall.

From my knowlodge it shouldn't allow you to install an extension for DW CS 4 using the DW 8 Extension manager.

Where did I say that I tried to install a DW CS4 extension with DW 8 extension manager?
The point is that I had DW 8 previously and it did not completely uninstall through the control panel. I did not realize this.
After uninstalling DW 8 I had installed DW CS4 and installed extensions thru DW CS4 but the Flexipanels would crash when clicking on any icon in Flexipanels.
After researching and testing, I found that DW 8 did not completely uninstall and extension manager had not been uninstalled and was causing a problem. When I manually removed the remaining files for DW 8 and DW 8 extension manager then Flexipanels worked.
I provided the adobe help links so others can understand the extension manager issues. There are a number of known issues.
