I am having a problem with the display order of my flexi panels, in that some pop up elements of my webpage show up behind the flexi panel and not infront as they should do - how can I change this ?

Hi Oliver,

If you're trying to place a flash or Javascript element, then you should change the z-index value for these. If it's CSS then there is a Z-index setting as well for CSS. So I would try working on what you put on top of the Panels first.

Let me know how this works for you,
Cristian

I have set their z-index to 1, but these elements still show behind the flexi panel. As I understand z-index the front element is 1, going down to 3 at the back ?

It's the other way around, higher z index means elements stay in front. So make a test and put z index 100 for your elements and see how this works. If you have the page online we could have a look directly there.

I have just done that but it does not seem to have made a difference - www.wrackleford.co.uk

Hi Oliver,

I had a look in Firefox and the page looks quite nice actually. Where exactly is the problem? Or what browser should I use to locate the problem?

PS: in IE 6 the page is completely Kaput, I suggest you also have a look at Flexi CSS Layouts http://www.extendstudio.com/product/tableless-css-layouts-for-dreamweaver.html

It makes CSS layouts without coding and working the same in all browsers.
