I have tried to use the edit the selected design button or create your own design button and it tells me I have to install Adobe Air. I install Adobe Air and it still tells me I have to install Adobe Air. When I try to reinstall Air Adobe tells me I have it installed already.

Hi Geej,

Could you please have a look at what version of Adobe Air you have installed? Also, when trying to re-install, you should first un-install it.

The adobe air version is 2.02.12610. I will try uninstalling and reinstalling and let you know how it goes.

Thanks,

Same Problem:
For the skin editor to work you need to install Adobe AIR 1.5.1

Latest ver installed:
Adobe AIR 2.0.2 Installer

Will this only run with Adobe AIR 1.5.1?

If so, when can we expect an update?

Thanks

Hello,

I also have Adobe Air 2.0.2 on my computer and the skin editor its working without any problems. We will make a desktop sharing session with one of the other clients that is reporting this problem and check the problem.

I'll post back here what we find.

I'm not sure where the issue lies with CSSpanels but it seems a lot of AIR developers are having problems with the 2.0.

I uninstalled 2.0 and installed 1.5.3.9130 and all is working fine.

You can download 1.5.3.9130 from oldapps.com
or
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/853/cpsid_85304.html

Just a heads up for those that need to get working now.

I just did a reformat and had to scramble to get everything in place and running. :)

Cheers.

Hello everybody,

It seems like on some computers the function that identifies Air version doesn't work with version 2.0.2.

We will make a package that will not do the check anymore and just open the editor directly. This is just a temporary fix until we find a more elegant solution and issue an update.

I will post the link to the package later today.

Also, installing version 1.5.x back is a solution. Thank you for the notice, Vic!

Hello again,

Here's the link to the package I've mentioned in the previous post: http://www.extendstudio.com/product_assets/support_files/CSSPanels%20Patch.zip

You should restart Dreamweaver after you install the patch.
