I am having trouble with my usual CSS method of rendering rounded corners in Wordpress content. I'm playing around to see whether it is possible to use FlexiPanels to layout the box in Dreamweaver, then copy the code, images, etc. to Wordpress.

It isn't going well yet - possibly because there is a javascript component and I wonder whether anyone else has had any success...?

I'm using the demo version to see whether it will work before purchasing.

Thanks,
David

Hello David,

Here's a tutorial that covers how you can integrate one of our extensions with Wordpress: http://www.extendstudio.com/creative-dw-menus-pack/Dreamweaver-flash-menu-Wordpress.html

As you will notice, all the urls used are absolute, so you will need to change that in your page as well. Use the "search and replace" feature from Dreamweaver.

Tell me if you have any more questions.

Hello Andrei

Sorry it has taken me a while to try this out. I'm still having trouble. The links are now all valid (css files and images) I can open/view them using the WordPress generated source code - but the page doesn't render the panel correctly.

One think I noticed is that WordPress is inserting a lot of <p> tags in your code. That is a problem too, but not my main problem.

I have no trouble including the panels in a widget or HTML section of the site - but it doesn't work in pages or posts.

Any ideas?

Best wishes,
David

Hi David,

So there is the thing with <p> but you've got the rest sorted out?

Thanks,
Cristian

Hi Cristian,

No, not really. I've actually resolved the <p> tag problem.

I want to include the panels in post and pages and that isn't working. I could send you a screenshot and the generated html code if you are interested in figuring out why it isn't working.

I know there is an issue with using javascript in WordPress posts and pages, so I'm guessing that may be the problem.

Thanks,
David

Hi David,

You need to use a plugin that allows to insert JavaScript in the content. For example this one http://www.ooso.net/inline-js Or there are a few tutorials about using javascript manually. If you have the site somewhere online, please send it to support@extendstudio.com and we could have a look.

Thanks,
Cristian
