Hello,

Can you give us more details about this error? What operating system are you using and what dreamweaver version?

Regards,

May help some with initialising probs

I had a problem where, after un-installing the sample product and installing the full version I could not register the serial number (later discovering no need to remove the sample is irrelevant here).

Whenever I tried to insert or edit a panel the new install modal popped up and after entering that da....ed long serial number it progressed to a second window where clicking "process" it went into a permanent loop and did nothing... every time tried.

HAVING SAID that, before I read this thread I used the win registry editor to trace all entries re "flexi" and it showed the paths you have mentioned above which were deleted... having first un-installed the product again.

WIN Registry.
HOWEVER and what may help others above, I ALSO DELETED ALL references to the flexi panel in the win registry too.

Once I did that the next install and invocation worked properly and now I appear to have a good non Javascript product to work with.

PS to the extend studio bods, PLEASE sort that serial number entry box to take a "paste". I nearly through the product out and demanded a refund because the constant lengthy manual inputting of that LONG serial number made problem solving such a lengthy process... won't take much I'm sure.

Hi Ron, but you can copy paste the serial number. In fact I think I never had to do it manually.

In which way doesn't work?

Thanks,
Cristian

Cristian

Some time back now and as reported installation was achieved as above.

So can't try the serial input again but can remember it wouldn't take a right click paste or control v etc (FFox on Vista).

Anyhoo if you say it does work then so be it.

Facing new prob today (coincidence discovered notice of your post tonight) where one particular page has just stopped taking new (extra) panels. Select one in interface as usual and click install and the window closes but nothing happens??? Tried using new pages to plonk in panels and they worked as expected so having a break and will try same page again later.

(PS off topic is there anywhere new additional ready-made panel designs are available as they are created for downloading and installing?)

Hello Ron,

Could you please send me a copy of the page that gives you problems at support at extendstudio.com ?

We plan on making some new style packages available in the future. But I don't know for sure when that will be.

Re: panel install failure. That page is long gone ALTHOUGH I was able to place new panels IN a table cell. The problem was placing new panels on the page body areas.

Also, thanks for the heads-up re style packages. I find the idea of the internal style maker brilliant but often problematical in practice. Will persevere.

Regards.
