I am using the FlexiPanel demo version with dreamweaver CS3, on a PC running windows XP w/SP3.
When the completed pages are viewed with Firefox over the web, everything is fine. Panels load instantaneously.
When using IE7, the panel loads slowly, first the text, then the backgrounds from top to bottom. It is interesting to note that when previewing the page locally from dreamweaver CS3, in IE7, the panel loads properly.
Any ideas about what would cause and how to correct this?

Hello,
No worries about the extra threads, we will clean it up and leave only one of the posts.
The answer to your question is that each panel is made up out of many smaller pictures. Each of this pictures will load independently. When you test your page locally the files are already on your computer and loading time is almost un-existent. However, the first when you check your online page it will last 1-2 seconds or maybe more (depends on the internet speed that you have and the other content on the page ) before it will download all the pictures that create the panel.
This will only happen the first time you access the page. Afterwards, the images will be loaded from the cache.
