Hello,
I am using (or at least I'd like to use) FlexiCSSmenu 1.0.208, but unfortunately it seems to be missing UTF-8 support. My native language is hungarian, in which we use öüóőúéáűí letters as well as the letters in the english alphabet. I can not use ő and ű in the text of the menu labels. In other words I can not make labels containing ő and ű letters. Just these two. I bought it as a part of a package, a special offer. It seems to be worthless in this state. Please upgrade FlexiCSSmenu for DW to able to handle UTF-8 letters.
Sincerely

Hello,
This is not a flexi CSS Menus issue. You'll have to set this UTF-8 in the head tag,. This is a meta tag that sets the language of the page: <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />

Dear Elena,
Thank you for your answer. Sorry to disagree with you, but this is not a how-to-set-my-meta tag issue. I code all of my pages with UTF-8. I've uploaded a video to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BMlQxjsyPQc to see what is all about. At 1:22 I tried even copy-paste the őőőőő letters, but I failed. This is UTF-8 codepage support problem.
Please upgrade FlexiCSSMenu for DW. Not all web developers use only english or german language.
Sincerely

Hello again,
I have tryed to insert these characters to flexi css menus in my computer and both typing and copy-paste worked fine.
I have the 1.0.239 version installed, which is the last one, so please login to your account and download it.
However, I haven't seen in your video if the text works if you only type it.

Dear Elena,
I updated to the latest version. Another video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ZA2tv3QIpU unfortunately with no good result. I can use only 7 of 9 hungarian accented letters in the menu field.
Can you show me your video about inserting all 9 hungarian accented letters?
Sincerely

Hello,
I have tested and I can insert the 7 characters, as you said. The 'ő' and 'ű' characters cannot be inserted, but this seems to be a Flash Player issue.
I apologize for the misunderstanding and about telling you that it works on my computer, it seemed that I was testing this with only the 7 characters.
However, I will keep investigating and I will try to give you a solution as soon as possible.
Thank you for understanding!

Dear Elena,
I met a similar problem in other company's Flash based solution.
It turned out, that if I replaced for example Arial.ttf with Arial-CE.ttf in the fla file and then compile it, the problem has gone. Honestly say, in the html code that the FlexiCSSMenu created I can enter ő and ű, only the graphical interface does not allow to add these two letters into the fields. Maybe you will develop the next version to allow to select font to work with OR you may simply change the default font (i assume it is microsoft sans-serif) to the one it supports iso 8859-1,2 or utf-8 codepage.
