I just can't seem to make a dynamic chart.

This first error that pops up when I try to save it says:

"Making this change would require changing code that is locked by a template or translator. The Change will be discarded."

Error: Error #1502: A script has executed for longer than the default timeout period of 15 seconds.
at FusionChartsDynamic/get chartName()
at FusionChartsDynamic/_insertChart()
at FusionChartsDynamic/insertChart()
at FusionChartsDynamic/___FusionChartsDynamic_Button4_click()


then when I hit "Okay" it says:

Another chart with this name already exists!
Save chart with the next available name : FusionChart7 ? (choose NO to change it manually)


OR....

it won't get into the previous errors and output:

Warning: include(includes/FusionCharts/dynamic/data/fc_test1120am_data.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory

I'll play around with it for a few more hours and let you know of any more errors.

The weird part is that there are always JavaScript errors on the static charts but there are none on this chart.

Hello Robert,

Sounds like you are experiencing some nasty problems, we apologize for the inconveniences caused by them.

From what I understand, you have problems with the dynamic version of the charts. Do you have any problems with the static version ?

About the problems, do you use other extensions on the same page ? A copy of a test page that gives you errors when you try to insert a chart would help us very much on finding the source of the problems. You can send it at support at extendstudio dot com.

Also, please tell me what DW version and what operating system you have.
