I just installed the demo today and have been working with the new app. I have to say I was really excited to implement this for my new client, but after hours of working with this I am really disappointed. First it is constantly giving me a JS error "version not detected". Second when you try to open this up and edit recordsets it just totally jams and rewrites a new recordset and you have to go in and manually delete. Second it will not drill out all of the "groups" in the recordset. For example I have a simple query. A single table that list all of the state codes. And a Sales table with sales with a foriegn key that relates to the states table...Well it only drills out one result when it should loop through and give me the ten that our part of the result. I went through the process of writing my own recordset and relating the graph to this recordset...Good luck. I got about 25 errors. Maybe you can help...But I have been using Webassist products for years now without any major issues, including their dynamic web charts. I really wish you had tested this much better b4 putting this out to the public domain. Not sure I will be buying this product unless it is drastically improved. GB Web Developer.

Hello,
The errors that you are reporting are pretty severe and it makes me think that the extension was not installed correctly by the Extension Manager. I would like to assure you that the extension has been installed thoroughly on all Dreamweaver versions and we would not launch a product if it would give that many errors to every client. It wouldn't be in our advantage in this case to allow free trial downloads, either.
First, please give me some information about your environment. What Dreamweaver version do you have, what server script do you use and what database type? Also, what operating system do you have and do you have it in English or a different language?
Have you tried to use the extension inside an empty Dreamweaver site or in pages that we're previously created?

Can you please tell me what some of the errors stated? The recordset window shouldn't have any connection with our extension, I don't understand why it would give you errors.
If you could send us some screenshots with the errors at support at extendstudio.com, that would be great.

Thanks for the reply. Currently I am using CS3 with a php/mysql setup. I have vista and it is in english.
This is within an existing dreamweacer site that I am creating for a client and is primarily used as a corporate intranet. I just created a new page test.php and added the chart. Nothing else is on the page.
I am sending the screenshots over to you. I was successfully able to generate a simple chart ...It is sales by state for a particular salesperson. I hit generate preview and it looked ok. But when I added this to the page it only gives me one column? I also attached a screenshot of the JS error. I have installed and reinstalled twice. I also cleared the chache file in dreamweaver. Thanks greg

I would love to get this resolved as soon as possible, as I would be happy to buy this extension if we can get this to work.

That chart that displays only one column was created with the query generator from the extension or with Dreamweaver recordset?
