Hi,rnI'm trying to evaluate your product and have downloaded your prouduct DW Image Show v 1.01 and it seems to install properly, but when I attempt to insert an "Image show Pro" ojbect, I get a waiting icon (spinning cursor) and then Dream Weaver crashes. I have reinstalled both DW and DW Image show, and having the same results.rnrnIs this environment supported ? Any ideas of the issue?rnrnThanks,rnrnJoe

Hello Joe,
Please try to remove Dreamweaver cache and try the extension again:
You can read here how you can delete the cache:
http://www.extendstudio.com/documentation/creative-dw-dropdown-menu/documentation/faq/faq2.html#cache_procedure
It is important that you close Dreamweaver before deleting the cache file.

Hi,
It seems that the cache delete instructions do not apply to DW CS5.
Is it a known that DW Image Show is working w/ Lion & CS5 Dreamweaver?

Hello Joseph,
The cache instructions we're written a while back and that's why the CS 5 version is not included. However, the paths are the same as with CS 4.
So, follow the paths from CS 4 and you should find the file cache. You must close Dreamweaver before deleting the cache.

I deleted the cache as you indicated (previously uninstalled DW and killed the DW Application support directory) and I still get the same error, where when I click on insert I get the waiting cursor and then DW Crashes.
Your other products are working fine for me (Flexi CSS & CSS Panels)
I am interested in buying this product, but I'm just wondering if this version is compatible with OSX Lion and CS5 DW... Have you tested this?

I am having the same problem on Lion as Joseph, is this a known issue? Is it just limited to the Demo product? I see you do you answer the compatibility question, is there a reason for that?

Hey John,
Any luck getting this to work? I've tried every thing I can think of deleting the cache, reinstalling the plugin, complete reinstall of DW. Wasting so much time for trying to get it to work, but support seems MIA.

Hello,
I'm sorry for no reply until now. I've actually waited for the testing department to finish a round of tests on the product to make sure everything is ok. In the first tests that I made the Creative Image Show extension worked fine on my MAC but wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything.
The extension installed fine on our MAC's with both CS 5 and CS 5.5 and we we're unable to reproduce the problem.
Could we do a desktop sharing session with any of you guys so we can check what's causing your Dreamweavers to crash?
It won't take longer than about 15 minutes. Tell me if you agree and also let me know in what time zone you live and between what hours it would be best for you to make the connection.

Oh wait, I don't use Lion.... it started when I upgraded to Master Collection 5.5...I am still in Snow Leopard. Is there a fix for me?

Hello Marisa,
Yes, the package it should solve the problem you have as well. Download the package from here and install it using the extension manager:
http://www.extendstudio.com/product_assets/support_files/IS_DW_PRO_OSXLion_Fix.zip
After you installed the patch, restart Dreamweaver and test the extension again.
Tell me if you still have problems.
