I've just switched from Dreamweaver CS3 to CS5. I've been using Image Show Pro with no probs on CS3 but now when I try to do some editing on a show that was created in CS3 Dreamweaver crashes.
I checked the Ext. Mgr and the extension's there. Even downloaded the product again and reinstalled. Tried adding a show on a blank page and it crashed Dreamweaver as well.
Any suggestions or help out there?

After downloading the software 3 times and reinstalling the extension it finally worked. So all's well that ends well!

Hello Tony,
When you switched from Dreamweaver CS 3 to CS 5, have you reinstalled the extension or just imported it?

I'm having trouble with Image Show Pro the same as I did over 9 months ago as seen in earlier posts on this thread. Only difference is I have not changed Dreamweaver Versions as above.
Using iMac,OS 10.6.8, 3.6 GHz intel core i5, 4GB ram, Dreamweaver CS5.
• tried to revise an existing Creative Show Pro graphic on a page - DreamWeaver crashed (URL to page I'm trying to change: https://www.mnbbank.com)
• tried again with same result, DW crash
• rebooted computer and tried again with same result, DW crash
• went to ExtendStudio site and downloaded the Creative DW Rich media pack again - installed the extension in Adobe Extensions Mgr, then rebooted computer. Now Image Show Pro neither shows up on the "Insert" bar nor under the drop down "Insert" menu.
• Removed the DW Image Show extension from Extensions Mgr.
• Downloaded DW Rich Media a 2nd time and with Dreamweaver not running reinstalled in Extensions Mgr. Image Show still does not show up in "Insert".
Thanks, Tony

I've taken it one step further....I uninstalled Dreamweaver CS5 and I uninstalled the extension for Image Show pro in the Extensions Manager. I rebooted the computer and reinstalled Dreamweaver. Then downloaded another copy of Image Show Pro...installed it and it's still not showing up in Dreamweaver.
What do I do now?

Hi Elena...thanks for the help.
That cured the crashing problem and Image Show Pro is now available in the Insert "bar" when I use the "classic" workspace layout in Dreamweaver. It can't be accessed however from my "personal" workspace layout. Also, Image Show Pro is still not showing up in the "insert" draw down menu.
Bottom line now: I can use the plug-in from the "classic" workspace layout, it doesn't crash but can't access it from the "Insert" drop down menu.
Thanks..Tony

Hello Tony,
You can access it from the Dreamweaver insert tab. Go to Window> Insert or press Command+F2 and the insert tab will appear in your workspace. After that you can move it wherever you want in your workspace area.
Let me know if you need more assistance with this.

Hi Elena,
I have full use of Image Show pro now that you sent the patch and I can access it from the Image "bar". Where it's not showing up is in the insert "drop-down menu". It used to be there as well as on the "bar". But since the crashing prob it's no longer there, even after I installed the patch. All of my other Extend products can be accessed from the drop-down menu, just not Image Show Pro.
Thanks, Tony
