Have installed the trial version of image show pro. The adobe extension manger has connected it to Dreamweavercs4, and when I try to access it in the insert menu, it is not there. Is it because it is a demo? Can you help

Hello Seth,
Here's a link to our installation notes page that might help you: http://www.extendstudio.com/documentation/creative-dw-image-show-pro/documentation/installation_notes-ImageshowPro.html
If you still have problems it means that the extension was not installed correctly by the Extension Manager. Check Dreamweaver configuration folder for two language folders. If you have two, search each one for a folder called 'extend'. Copy all the contents from the one that has the 'extend' folder into the other language folder.
Tell me if you need more help.

I downloaded the image show pro demo and followed directions to install. It does not show up in my insert menu. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times and still nothing.
I am running Windows 7 and have the Adobe CS4 suite.

Hello,
Probably the extension manager doesn't install the extension correctly. You can check the configuration folder of Dreamweaver to see if the files of the extension have placed correctly.
You can find the path to the configuration folder here: http://www.extendstudio.com/documentation/creative-dw-vertical-menu/documentation/faq/faq2.html#cache_procedure
In that folder, check if you have any files in "Shared/FusionCharts". Tell me if you find anything.

Edit:
In that folder, check if you have any files in "Shared/ImageShowPRo". Tell me if you find anything.

Hello,
I am the one who can not get Image Show Pro to work with DW CS4.
I looked in "Shared" folder but "/ImageShowPRo" is not there. Also, the cache is empty.
I am becoming very frustrated with Dreamweaver. I only want to get a fairly simple slideshow on some of the pages and nothing is working.

I am having the exact same problem.... I am trying to use Image Show Pro with DW CS4. I have already purchased and downloaded the extension, and I have following the instructions exactly as you have specified in this thread, but still no Image Pro in the Insert menu.
Like Suzanne, I have no /ImageShowPro in the Shared folder.
Please help!

Oh, and if this helps at all, now the Creative TextFX extension that worked fine yesterday after I bought and installed it no longer works either.
Can't get to the TextFX panel anymore.
I'm really stuck!

Hello,
If you don't have that folder "Configuration/Shared/ImageShowPro" it means that the extension wasn't installed correctly.
Do you have multiple configuration folder for different languages? It is possible that the Extension Manager installed the extension on a different language.
If you want we can make a desktop sharing session and I can help you get the extension working. Send me an email at support at extendstudio.com and I will send you more details about the connection.
