I just purchased Image Show Pro. I have been using a trial copy for a few days. I was told to expect an email with instructions on how to proceed. When the email arrived it was all written in html code. I am assuming that this is an accident of some sort and not an evil practical joke. But I am eager to get started on a project without the demo logo in every frame. So what's up?

Howdy,

The e-mail that you got is really irrevelant. Once you have paid for an extension all you have to do is log in (like you did to post here) and go to 'My Account' at the top of the page and it will take you to where you download your extension and also displays your serial number.

Hope that helps,

Brad

Brad,

Thanks for that info.
I have downloaded and hit another snag. In the Adobe Extension Manager I disabled the demo version. The Pro version is enabled. But when I open up Dreamweaver, there is no Image Show Pro in the Insert Menu. It was there when I was using the Demo version, so I know where it should be. But it's not there for me to complete the registration process now.
Help.
Merle

Brad,

I just re-enabled the Demo version of Image Show Pro. And then it was back in the menu like before. When I clicked on Insert Image Show, I was asked to enter my license number which I did. So apparently the copy is registered now. But when I previewed a slide, the Demo Logo was still there.

What to do?

Hi Merle,

I haven't used the demo in awhile but I believe it adds a watermark to the images. You will likely have to setup new images. You don't have to redo the whole slideshow - just replace the pictures you have in there with the original ones you used in the demo.

Or is this new images you put up now that still have the watermark? If so, I would uninstall both the demo and the full liscence and re-install the full one. It's generally a good practice to get into to uninstall demos of any extensions before installing full versions. Most work just fine, but sometimes you get mixups, so I always uninstall demos before installing real ones.

Hello Merle,

Just to sum up, you currently have the demo or full version enabled?
From what I understand you have both versions installed in your extension manager and you just enable/disable the ones that you want. The problem is that both packages use mainly the same files. So, if you have them installed and then disable one of them, the process will delete some files that are needed by the other one as well.

I think the best thing to do is, as Brad said, to remove completely both versions from the extension manager and then install the extension again using the full package.

If you receive error 201 when you try to register the full version, you must access your account on our website and press the reset license button for ImageShow Pro.

If you registered the extension already in the past, it won't ask you for the license again.

Andrei,

It's the Dawn of a New Day. I did as you advised. Removed both extensions and re-downloaded the full version. And it popped up in the Dreamweaver menu exactly as it should, and the watermark on the images is now gone. Now I'm cookin' with gas.
Thanks for your help and how forth-coming it has been.
