when I try to import fonts from my local hard drive to include in an image show pro display they are grayed out. I cannot choose any. I downloaded the package ExtendStudio provides but I want to use my own fonts. Does anyone know how to import fonts into Image Show Pro?

Hello,
In order to use your own fonts with ImageShow PRO you must export them using our "Export Font utility". You can find the installer inside the Image Show PRO package. Flash 8 or better is needed.
Here's a link to our tutorial that shows how you can export fonts: http://www.extendstudio.com/documentation/creative-dw-image-show-pro/documentation/tutorials/how-to-use-your-own-fonts-in-creative-dw-image-show-pro.html

Good day,
I use FL and DW CS4. I have stated in the manual (http://www.extendstudio.com/documentation/creative-dw-image-show-pro/documentation/tutorials/how-to-use-your-own-fonts-in-creative-dw -image-show pro.html) described exported my writing in FL.
Now I want to import this Font in DW, but this does not work.
I have tried everything but it's not easy!
Why is not working properly?
Best regards
Daniel

Hello Daniel,
What operating system do you have?
Could you send me some screenshots with the steps you make at support at extendstudio.com ?

Hi,
Thank you for your response and please excuse my English, unfortunately I only speak German.
So I use Adobe CS4 on a Mac OS X SnowLeopard.
I will send you some screenshots tomorrow evening at the e-mail address.
Best regards
Daniel

Hello Daniel,
On MAC you need to select the folder and not the font files. That's why the font files appear greyed out. If you select the folder it still doesn't work?

Yes I have done so. But it does not work anyway.
Unfortunately I am not yet come to them to prepare the screenshots.
But I'm sure I've done everything exactly as directed.

Hello Daniel,
You can try a workaround and see if its working.
Go to this folder:
[hd]/Users/[user]/Library/Application_Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver/[language]/Configuration/Shared/Extend/ImageShowPRO/Fonts
Copy all the swf files exported with the Flash export tool inside it.
Then restart Dreamweaver and check for the fonts in the font list inside the interface.
Tell me if it helps.

Hi Andrei,
Best thanks for your help.
The import of the scriptures has worked.
In the offline preview, I can now see the writing.
Whether the writing is now online to see on the website I can not confirm it yet. I have not had time to post the whole thing.
I rise again at this point to tell them whether it worked.
Best greetings
Daniel
