Hello,
I'm working with Dreamweaver CS4. I installed the components and the extension is shown in Extension Manager with a check mark. Any time I try to oben "Insert simple Image" in Dreamweaver a popup opens and says "You have to save the Document before inserting a componant" .

Okey, I saved the site and clicked the button "Insert simple Image" again and a new popup that says "You can insert a component only in a document from a site" is showing up. My site is a document. There is no possibility to enter my registration code.
Where is my fault? Can you help me?

Best Regards
Jutta from Germany

Hi Andrei,

I'm experiencing the same error message, but after reading your first article noticed the local testing. I don't have a local Apache or mySQL server, will this prevent me from using the product?

Thanks,
Kevin

Hello Kevin,

No, you can use the product without a local testing server.
Because you don't test it from a local server you will have some security restrictions that you need to disable to run the scripts needed by the extension.

Internet Explorer blocks by default any javascript that runs from a local file. You need to allow the script to run. Also, you might get a warning from the Flash Player and its security will prevent the scripts from running. You need to add the site folder as trusted location.

Go to Flash Player settings manager page to add the folder of your website as trusted location: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04.html
