I created a few pages and on one I needed a link. When I put the email link in, the copy looks fine in the fla but the formatting gets screwed up in the .swf when previewed or viewed in browser. I sent two files to the support e-mail yesterday. One file that works fine and the other with the e-mail link added.

Any ideas?

Hello Bernie,

Thank you for the documents. Unfortunately, I don't understand how exactly it behaves weird. On my computer everything works. Please explain with more details the weird behavior of the Scroller or the text fields inside.

Kind regards,
Andrei Rinciog

If you have my files. Open up the CopyForScroll movie and look at the text formatting. How it is nice and spaced out. This is what it looked like in preview before I added the link.

If you preview the file you will see the text spaced funny and squished. It is still readable but the formatting is all off. The justify is off as well.

Hello,

I saw the problem but I don't know how to solve it. This is a problem with the text field and I think you should ask Adobe Support for more help.

Kind regards,

I just did a work-around. I made a transparent button in the movie and put it over the link. Worked like a charm.

Thanks,

Bernie
