HI,rnrnReally like this tool but am having two issues. rnrnPlease take a look at www.creative-spark.com/energy to see what I am talking aboutrnrn1) Horizontal ScrollrnrnIs there any way to turn this off? rnrn I just want to have a straight vertical scroll and the movie clip does not have any elements to the left of the scroll area but if you click on the content area you can move the contents to the left and out of the masked area. Not sure why it is doing this - the movie clip that is scrolling is sized to fit in the mask area.... Please helprnrn2) Slider bar controlrnIf there any way to set the size of this? If you look at the example I have posted it is very tall. I placed a short/wide element in there to be the slider controller and it resized it to this tall/thin element. It there a way to control this?rnrnThanks,rnDavid

Hello David,

Sorry, I wasn't able to take a look at your page until now. From what I see the scroller seems to work now ( I can't see the problems that you have reported ). Have you been able to find the source ?

No I haven't...

Once again there are two problems.

1) In the content area if you click on it you can drag the entire contact area about 10 pixels to the left and it gets unmasked. Don;t know why it is don this can you please take another look. This has nothing to do with the vertical scroll. You should not be able to move the entire content area to the left but you can. PLease help.

2) As I asked above, is there any way to control the size of the slider control? We designed on that is short/wide but when we place it in the movie clip it becomes tall/thin. Can not find any instructions for modifying the scroller control.

I can send you pictures of both issues if you would like.

Thanks,

David

Hello,

I saw the first problem and I think that you can get rid of it by making the text fields inside the target movie clip a little bit smaller.

From the second problem I understand that you don’t want the knob to be as tall as it is. The knob is resized based on the height of the target movieclip and on the size of the scrollbar. It needs to show how much of the target you can scroll. You can make the scrollbar smaller in order to reduce the height of the knob.

If you still have problems, please send us a copy of your FLA at support at extendstudio.com.

Andrei
