My company paid for three licenses for the Extend Flash Scroller. All three are installed and in use. I have one installed on my Mac that has been working fine in CS3, until I decided to upgrade to CS4. I do not have access to the scroller component inspector anymore. It would be ridiculous to buy a new license just to use CS4 on the exact same machine. Couldn't the authorization have been written to recognize this? Please let me know how to proceed with this problem.

No help to you, I know, but I've just wasted four hours trying to install the Trial Demo version for the first time into a CS4 environment and it doesn't show up ... and the hyperlink in the "Getting Started" page (Windows-only, but no mention of that) for help in installing gets a 404. It seems somebody hasn't got their act together by quite a long way. What a shame for a product that looks really good. Maybe this "Discution" (sic) will get someone to pop out of the woodwork and explain all?

Hello guys,

Royce, I don't understand exactly if you have reinstalled the Scroller for the CS 4 version. You need to reinstall it, using the CS 4 extension manager. After you do this, in order to register the component after using it in CS 3, you need to reset your license number from your account on our website. If you don’t do that you will receive an error with the number 201.

If you have done the steps above and still cannot use the component, please write to us again with more details about the problem you are experiencing.

James, our scroller is an AS 2 component. I think that you can’t find it because you are opening AS 3 documents. If this is not the case, have you installed the extension using the CS 4 version of the extension manager ? This might be another source for the problem.
And thank you for pointing out the spelling error on the forum page. We will fix that as soon as possible.

Best regards,
Andrei Rinciog
