Why is the content being scrolled not ending at the bottom of the scroller? In other words, if I drag the scroller down all the way to the bottom of the scrollbar, the content within the scroll area is empty (the content has disappeared about 70% into the scrollbar).rnrnI've used another scrolling component that addresses this by having a "padding" option in the component to compensate. But I'm not sure why this component isn't even working right.rnrnAny ideas?

Is there a known limitation of how wide or long (in pixels) that a movie clip can be in order to be scrolled?

Hello Eric,

Adobe Flash allows only movie clips of 2700 px width and height. This is not a component limitation, it’s a Flash limitation and the purpose of this limitation is to make the swf’s smaller and not allow users to create very big flash files. You can find more information about this on adobe.com or try searching the web for forum posts.

I am having a similar (though slightly different) problem, while using the Scroll Area component. My movieclip is only 700 pixels deep but when scrolling down it stops short of bottom of the content within the movie clip. I am using a demo version and will purchase it if this question can be resolved.

Thanks,

Hello,

The content inside the MovieClip needs to be at 0,0 coordinates. Maybe you have the content at a y coordinate less than 0 ?

Please send me a FLA file with an example so I can figure out what goes wrong. Send it to support at extendstudio.com

Thank you,
