The scrollbar does not show up in Fiirefox with a prelader swf. If I remove the prleoader, swf and just embed the movie, the scrollbar does not show up in either browsers. The scroll area shows up and is mouse-draggable. There are an awful lot of threads here about the scroller not waorking in various scenarios and various browsers. If I cannot use this for a live website, then why was it ever released? Please let me know what I need to do, I made the assumption that this was a product for professional use, not just to play around with cool scrollbars.

Hello John,
If you test the movie in Flash environment the scroller works correctly? Do you have the latest Flash Player installed in Firefox? What Firefox version do you have?
Could you please send me a link to the page an a copy of the FLA or SWF files by email to support at extendstudio.com?

I am using FF 3.6.16 and 3.6.17. I actually saw the elusive scrollbar in FF , the very first time I loaded it this morning on http://www.nesdis.noaa.gov/Multimedia_X.html. After a few refreshes, it was gone, never to return.
FYI_ I also tried using the default scrollbar instead of my custom skin, with the same result.

Hello John,
We have discussed this by email and you said that you were able to find a solution. I checked your page today and everything seems to work. Both scrollbars and scroller appear and work.
Do you have any problems or questions that need attention regarding this problem?
