I just purchased the scroll component and tried installing it. It installed properly and replaced an older version of it. When I restarted flash it did not show up in the component panels. I tried this several time to no avail. Please help

Hello,

There are two possible reasons why the Scroller component is not appearing in the panel. The simple one is that you are looking inside an ActionScript 3 document. Creative Flash Scroller is an Actionscript 2 component. It does not appear in documents that use ActionScript 3. Create a new AS 2 Flash document and check the components panel.

It's also possible that the component did not get installed correctly. If you have checked AS 2 documents and it's still not there, check Flash configuration folder on other user accounts from your computer. Look for a folder called "Extend". Tell me if you find it and I will guide you forward.
