Hi. I have downloaded the plug in for Flash to create a drop down menu. I have tweaked it and exported it into a .swf. I then placed it in my Dreamweaver layout. But it was huge! It took the drop down area into account when placing it. When I previewed it in FireFox it was the same way: everything was pushed down to accommodate for the drop down area.

I use Adobe Creative Suite 3, if this helps.

Any info would be appreciated. If I can get this to work - I'll purchase in a heartbeat!

Hello,

From your post I understood that you are trying to use the FL menus in a html layout and you want to menus to float over the HTML content. Unfortunately, the floating cant be achieved with the FLASH menus because when you compile the Flash file it will create a SWF output. The SWF file, when imported in your HTML page it will behave as any other SWF file.

The Flash menus where created to work in FLASH, or to be used in a banner.

If you want to use a menu in a HTML page, I suggest you to try the Dreamweaver Menu Extensions!
