I've noticed that in IE6 and IE7, if the site is opened with the window NOT fully expanded and then the window is fully expanded to fill up the monitor, the menu stays where it was. Seems to be an absolute to relative positioning problem.

Website: http://www.candlecharts.com/new2/

Example: http://www.candlecharts.com/new2/menuissue.jpg

Does not do this FF - it snaps to the new location

Any help is very appreciated.

I am having the same issue... it only started when I added "AddThis" share/bookmark script.

Once you mouse over the AddThis button, the navigation no longer snaps in FireFox either.

Good to know! I've had other issues pop up when I add "AddThis" or "ShareThis." I'll do some testing. Darn it, hate to lose the sharing stuff.

Hello,

I’ve checked the page that you’ve posted and I’ve noticed that you have the old version of the Creative Menus.

Please download the Creative Menus install package again from your account and reinstall. The ‘AddThis’ incompability has been fixed in the latest version of the menu so you don’t need any additional fix package. Actually, it is not recommended to use that fix package with version 1.7.x.

If the problem still persists, try adding “px” to all the dimensions of your pictures. I saw that the menu is positioned bad only if you resize the browser before the page fully loaded. If you wait for the page to load and then resize it will work. This brings me to believe that if you have your dimensions with “px” at the end it will prevent the bad positioning.

Kind regards,
