I used dreamweaver to embed a swf in the 2nd row of a table and a creative drop-down menu in the top row. Everything works as it should in FF but in IE the flash movie in the 2nd row only displays every 2nd time the page is refreshed.
Unfortunately the client uses IE and wanted it fixed quickly so I messed with the embed code a bit and now works fine in IE but not FF.
If I don\'t insert the creative menu the page works fine in both.
You can see both versions here:

Please help so that it displays in both.

Hi,
Can you please try and move this code above the SWF load?
<!-- Creative Menus - menu rendering scripts start -->
<script type="text/javascript"> buildMenu() </script>
<noscript>
</noscript>
<!-- Creative Menus - menu rendering scripts end -->

Can you send us a ZIP with the files at support? It's a bit hard to locate the problem just by looking at the browser behavior.

Hello,
I think that the problem was caused by a conflict between our code and the swf object that rendered that swf file. We've made an update for our menus that wraps all code inside a single object. This should stop our code from conflicting with other js files. Please download the updated package and put it on the page and see if this helps.
Regards,
Andrei

When you say "download the updated package" I assume you mean re-download from my account - I did this and in extension manager it shows 1.7 (not sure what it was before), I then opened the page in DW, opened the menu and made a minor change. deleted and re-added the swf then saved everything but unfortunately it still behaves the same.

Hi,
We would really need a zip with the files so we could test locally for solutions. Can you please send on support?
Best,
Cristian Dorobantescu

I have implemented a workaround for the moment that redirects depending on browser.
Surely I am not the first person to use a menu on a page containing a swf file.

Hello again,
I think that there is a problem with receiving mails from you. We haven't receive anything yet. We could use a link at least to your website if you have one. Or, maybe try sending the email from a different mail server ?

Andrei
