I have a site that I am using the tabbed menus on and would like to know how to have the sub menu links of the current page remain visible when the mouse is not over the tabs.

Hello Ken,

You can activate this from the first tab of the interface. Check the box that says "Persisten Submenu".

can this be set in the code manually? I've made several changes manually to the menu since I initially created it in dream weaver.

Hello,

Yes, you can change this directly from the code. In the div with the id “menu_options” there is an attribute called “persistentSubmenu”. You need to set that attribute to be “true”.
