I JUST RECENTLY UPGRADED TO IE8 AND WHEN I IDID I STARTED HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY MENUS... I HAVE HAD OTHER PEOPLE CHECK THEM IN IE7 AND IN SAFARI AND IT WORKS PERFECT... PLZ HELP... WWW.EXCELAIRANDOIL.COM

Hello,

This error can be caused by either the “&” from the labels or by the “/” character that you forgot in the HTML file at line 311.

Try to delete that character from the HTML first and see if it works. If not, try to replace “&” from the menu structure with “{XTD_AMP}”.

i tried the thing that you were saying to do on line 311 and it didnt help also.. i dont understand wat u mean by taking the thing from the menu structure...and i would also like to know why it works in safari and Internert explorer 7 But not internet explorer &

and it is just that my sub menus are not there besides that everthing else is fine

Hello,

Sorry for the late reply, I had to search a little bit for this one. I don't know exactly why but the problem got solved by modifying the positioning of "apDiv4". I've set it to relative and now it works.
The whole problem resides on how z-index is calculated and somehow in IE 8 it gets confused. I will continue to look into this and we will see if there is another way to move around it.
