I am developing a new website my town. I currently have my PC set up as a server and am doing all developing and testing using "localhost".rnrnI just upgraded to IE8 and now my dropdown menu doesn't work. The first option (Home) on the menu is displayed as text and nothing else appears.rnrnThe menu works fine in IE7, Firefox 3, Google Chrome, Opera 9.64 & Safari.rnrnJudi Barrett

I posted a question on 2009-06-20 (IE 8 Problem). I received your reply. I tried to send you a reply but when I hit the submit button I get a message saying Please insert more than two characters so I am putting my reply in a new post.
Here is my original post:

Here is my reply:
I do not receive any javascript errors. I do have other scripts running on the page and they work ok. The drop down menu works fine in all the other browsers I tested (IE7, FF3.011, Safari, Opera, Google Chrome). It's only IE8 that has the problem
I can't send a link to my website because, as I explained, I have my computer set up as a server and all the files are on my local drive, not on the internet.

Andrei,
I was playing around with IE8 again this morning (testing other parts of my site) when I got a message saying I had to update my flash player. I had just updated it two weeks ago so I thought it was up to date but apparently it wasn't. I installed the new update and now the menus work fine in IE8.
