Hello,

The demo version is fully functional. The only difference between it and the full version it's that it adds a watermark on one of the buttons.

After you insert the menu, an includes folder is created inside the root folder of the current site. In order to see the menu online you will have to upload that includes folder along with the rest of the site's files.

About the crashing, what version of DW do you have and what operating system ? It happens at all times or only from to time ?
