I have a drop down menu which is dropping in front of a flash video. I have set the wmode to transparent and my menu is in a div tag with a z-index of 100.
I have tested my site in IE6, IE7, Opera and Firefox and all is ok. However in Safari when you go to the drop down link which is dropping down over the top of the flash video the cursor flickers like crazy. Is there anyway to stop this?
I used to have a javascript drop down menu instead of the creative menu and all was ok in every browser.

Hi,
I'm sorry, but I see no problem with the menu on Safari. What Safari version do you have and what version of Flash Player do you have for it ?

Thanks

Hi,
You can right click on the menu or the flash movie underneath and you will see the version of the flash player.
I've tested on Safari 3.2.3 with Flash Player 10 and everything looks perfect.
Nice menu skin, by the way.

Hi Andrei
This forum doesn't like accepting replies, I keep posting and they don't appear. Posting using both a mac and pc.
I have tested on
Safari 3.2.3 with flash player 10.0.22.87
Safari 3.2.1 with flash player 9
They both flicker rapidly from the hand to cursor. Please help. Glenn

Andrei make sure you go to 'print' then move down the menu to 'logo' so your cursor is hovering over the menu over video area.
