Creative DW Menu Pack is a suite of Dreamweaver extensions that seamlessly blends the flexibility of DHTML and the Flash look and feel to create beautifully web site menus. The extension comes with over 30 built in skins that can be customized to suit the design (colors, fonts, size) and include a smart resize system that preserves round corners and the gradient fills when you change the menu size.

Vertical menus is working great for us, but I noticed that on a system without Flash loaded, you just get the long text menu list. This is not a bad thing, but is there an easy way to also add a spot at the top of the menu as many flash graphics do "click here to download plugin" so they can get the full experiense? I've looked around the web, but didn't see how this is done. Might be a nice addition to the next version.

Hi Frank,
You can add yourself the text and the link that will point towards adobe flash player.
The link and the text have to be added in the div with the id="creative_menu_structure"
The only problem is that the link will be automatically deleted by the extension every time you edit the menu.

We are taking this feature into consideration for the next update.

Kind regards,

Hi Catalin,

This is an excelent idea to include in the next version - and will certainly assist with developers needing to add that level of cleanness to a site.

I did try your suggestion, although I end up with JS errors now. I placed a simple line into the div as suggested - perhaps I miss understood??

<div id="creative_menu_structure" >This content requires the Adobe Flash Player. <a href="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflash/">Get Flash</a>...

Any advise would be appreciated. Thanks

appologies - I found the error - it was in another page edited by another developer - and causing the JS to stop...

Thanks again.
