I had the v1.0 demo (didn't work too well), but upgraded today to v1.1. That solved all my v1.0 issues. I bought and installed the paid version, entered the serial, and generally followed the steps in help to upgrade to paid. The link to extendstudio still appears in my menus (with file upload to the site, upload of all the include directory info, and browser refresh).
One difference from a standard install is my hosting provider doesnt' allow an "includes" directory at the root level. I just made a new directory t the html level and copied all the new files over. For example, the first script line appears as: <script type="text/javascript" src="CreativeMenus/menuDisplay.js"></script>. This seems to work fine for demo.
Are there some files that have to be deleted between demo and paid? If you want to take a look go to: http://www.faqware.com.
Perhaps on a future version you can ask where to place the includes directory.

Hello,
This is from the documentation:
Here are a few easy steps you will have to follow in order to replace the demo version of Creative Vertical Menu with the full version without having to recreate your menus:
- Install the full version of Creative Vertical Menu.
- Edit the menu you have created with the demo version and click the OK button. The extension will automatically update the necessary files and the extendstudio.com button will not appear in your menu any more

Question- I'm having the same issue... the version on the server includes the extendstudio link... while the one on my PC doesn't.... what directories do I have to delete on the server and what directories do I reload from the DW paid version?

the issue seems to be the "includes" directory... I'm using the one found under "samples" ... is there another "includes" directory I should upload instead?

Hello,
You should upload the includes? folder that is in the root of your website (the one that is referred in the header section of you page) .
