I purchased the DM drop down menu today. Everything installed just fine, and works very well. However, this ONLY works IF the user has javascript enabled. Had I known that from the start, I would not have purchased. It wasn't until AFTER I spent hours installing it on a site that I noticed that script at the bottom of the page regarding the need to have javascript enabled. This isn't exactly WAI compliant, and if the viewer has JS turned off, the menu looks horrible. Now that I've discovered that it's only useful to SOME, when I need my menus to be useful to ALL users... and am having IE7 issues, but if I fix that, then I have FF issues.

Bottom line is that I just totally wasted 59.00.

How do I get a refund?

Helo Terri,

You can't say that there's a majority of users that don't have javascript enabled. I just checked the statistics for this month and less than 5% of the total internet users have javascript disabled. In most of the cases users don’t even know how to turn scripting off. So I don’t think this is such a big issue. About your IE problems, please give me a link to your website and let me help you resolve the issues.

Best regards,

I see you didn't read my post. I did not say that "a majority of don't have javascript enabled." I said, "IF the user," and went on to express my concerns regarding WAI. Yes, I read that exact same report as well.

Aside from that, I've given this matter more thought over the weekend and have decided that it would be unfair of me to ask for a refund when I could have more closely tested it out prior to purchasing. I'm also trusting in the fact that as you improve the product, you will release free updates.

I may be an unhappy customer, however, I believe in fairness and it would be inherently wrong of me to request a refund.

Hello Terri,

I'm sorry that you are not satisfied by our component and I hope that you will find the next version better. I really appreciate the fact that you are not requesting a refund, bearing in mind that you had the opportunity to first test the component. Please let me help you with those IE problems so you may actually use the menus if you want.

By remaining a Creative DW Menus owner you will receive the special upgrade offer when the second version is launched.

Kind regards,
Andrei

Andrei,

I definitely plan on remaining a member so I can receive the upgrade(s).

One of the problems I'm having is that the menu "floats" left/right when I resize the browser window. It won't stay in the center along with the rest of the page. It moves out of place, then moves back where it belongs.

For this problem, I may be missing something at the beginning of my code. Here's what I have:

<body>

<div id="masthead">
<div id="logo">
<div align="right"><img src="photo-bkg.jpg" width="389" height="250" /></div>
</div>
<div>
<!-- Creative menu Menu1 begin -->
<div id="CMPH_Menu1"> <img src="includes/Creative Menus/spacer.gif" width="980" height="41" /></div>
<div id="creative_menu_Menu1" menu_type="H" name="Menu1" >
<div id="menu_holder_Menu1">

<div id="menu_options" totalwidth="980" totalheight="41" fittopage="false" skin="Vista Classic" skincustom="" skinfiles="" mainColors="#012763,#0156B2" subColors="#0459AE,#FFFFFF" resizeOptions="" cutRoundCorners="false">

Hello,

Well, not exactly. I think there is a problem with the position of the rendering script for the menus. Please give me a link or send me an HTML at support@extendstudio.com.
