box Creative DW Menus Pack
Creative DW Menu Pack is a suite of Dreamweaver extensions that seamlessly blends the flexibility of DHTML and the Flash look and feel to create beautifully web site menus. The extension comes with over 30 built in skins that can be customized to suit the design (colors, fonts, size) and include a smart resize system that preserves round corners and the gradient fills when you change the menu size.

Hi
Am having problems with Fire Fox in that the menus wont work correctly.

Also had issues with having to refresh page all the time to visit pages, Have fixed this by moving site of off a Linux server and onto a Windows Server.

Any idea why this would have Helped

Hello,

I just checked your page and the menu seems to work. Do you still have problems ? If yes, please tell me what exactly happens.

About the Linux server issue, this is a known bug in our current version of menus, they are not working on unix based servers. This is because one of our folders is named "Creative Menu" and unix servers don't accept spaces in the folder names.

Hi I have also had problems and all of my sites are hosted on Linux. How can I fix this? When will the update come out? Can I get a refund since I can not use the menu?

I would rather keep the extension since I do like it. I just can not work with the problems!

Have fixed my Firefox problem by removing an IFrame that was below it, Menus now stay and can be clicked on.

Would be nice to have this Really good software patched so it could run on a Linux server as im now having to run my websites in windows and having subdomains in Linux and then IFraming in my PHP forms

The issue with the folder naming and Unix servers has been fixed in the latest release 1.7.4 that can be downloaded from the users control Panel or as a free trial from the site.

Thanks,

Please view http://www.manhattancorp.com/index_test.html in IE. You'll see that I used the flash menu component to create a menu in the header but would like to use the dreamweaver menu component instead in order to indicate to the user which page they are on, but in IE when rolling over for the submenus the user encounters a grey rectangle that covers half the page, it does work fine in Firefox but obviously I can't use it if it doesn't work in IE.

Hello,

The menu seems to look the same on all browsers that I have tested. Could you please give me more details about the problem that you experience on your computer?

All is see in IE is text. I used someone else's menu on a different website and people started calling me to say they could not see the menus. Only happened when they tried to view on a 64 bit system?? Thought I would look for something else.

Hello,

Do you have Flash Player installed on your computer?

Also,do you have javascript enabled in your Internet Explorer?

I have a 64 bit system myself.

Hello again Arlene,

I think I found the problem. You are testing using the Internet Explorer 64-bit version, not 32.

Flash Player 10.1 is not available for Internet Explorer 64-bit, only 32. There is only a preview release available for download or you must use the 32-bit Internet Explorer.

Okay, so I need to uninstall IE 64 and reinstall the 32? Is the problem actually with the Flash player? I use several programs that are 64 bit, should I change those as well?

Hello,

No, you don't have to uninstall the 64-bit of IE. You should have both versions installed. Also, you don't need to uninstall any other programs on 64-bit. Only keep in mind when you need to check a site with Flash content, use the 32-bit of IE.

At least until Flash Player 10.2 for 64-bit is released.

I have a menu created for the site http://www.brodyberman.com/dev/default.shtml

I have it in a devel folder because it is not ready to go live yet. I see the menu fine on my mac (with drop downs) but when I view it on my PC I can only see the main buttons and not the drop down. I have used the menus before on other sites and they worked fine. What could be the issue. Thanks!

Hi Maurice,

I looked at your page and I saw you have some Javascript errors on it. This is probably why the menu is not working. The menu also uses some Javascript and that is probably not executed anymore because of those errors.

The error I get is in the following js file

http://img.video.ap.org/p/j/apovn.js

"whichPartner is undefined" on line 167

Please let me know if you still have problems after fixing the JS errors.

Hallo
I used Creative Menus DW Vertical on a clients website. It’s working fine, except for Firefox 4 for Windows: there is no menu bar at all!

Thanks for your help

Hello,

I just sent the email again. Placed the MXP inside a zip archive to make sure it doesn't get blocked or something.

Please confirm when you receive it.

Andrei Rinciog.
