Seems that there is a big problem with the flash dropdown menu overlapping a flash entry.
Am aware of the transparent command but does not seem to work when the menu has to overlap flash.. code for a test page below that still does not work in ie or firefox and even worse with chrome.
Am I better to give up on flash menus?

You were just placing incorrectly the transparent value for that swf.
